Who we are
become is a social fitness app for logging gym workouts and sport sessions, tracking your progress, and sharing it with the athletes you follow. It is run by Srijan Maurya and Haripriya Mantri, the founders of become (individuals, India) ("we", "us"). It is currently in an early testing phase.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use become. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything posted from your account. One person, one account; don't pretend to be someone else.
Your content
The sessions, photos, comments and messages you post remain yours. By posting, you give become permission to store that content and display it to the audience you choose: everyone, or only approved followers when your profile is private. You can delete your content at any time.
Community standards
We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, nudity, violence, threats and spam. Anyone can report a post, comment, message or account (⋮ or long-press → Report). We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content or suspend accounts. People you report are never told who reported them. You can block anyone (⋮ on their profile or post): they can no longer find you, see your posts, message you or comment, and they are not told. Words that break these standards are filtered from public posts, comments and profiles, and masked in messages.
Fair use
Do not impersonate others, harass athletes, post content you do not own the rights to, or attempt to break, scrape or overload the service. Accounts that do may be suspended.
Health disclaimer
become tracks your training but is not a medical product. Calorie, intensity and progression figures are estimates. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health or training.
Beta software
The app is under active development. Features may change or be removed, and although we work hard to prevent it, interruptions and data issues can occur during testing.
Ending things
You can stop using become at any time and delete your account in the app: Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete Account. It is hidden straight away and permanently deleted after 7 days (sign in before then to restore it). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and ask you to agree again. By creating an account or continuing to use become you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
